Term 3 Week 7

We watched a Constable Care puppet show about caring and sharing.  It was very funny.

This week we made a book week display.  We chose the book, Dinosaurs Love Underpants by Claire Freedman and Ben Cort.  It is a very funny fiction story about how the dinosaurs got wiped out.

We made our own dinosaurs and made them underpants to wear.  Then Ms D made a big rock to put them all on.  We are going to take it up to the library today so everyone can see it. 

Today we had a book week assembly.  We all dressed up as characters from a book.  All the classes paraded around the assembly so we could see all the cool costumes.  We all clapped when the people came around.  The teachers did the assembly item today.  It was about being champions of books.

This afternoon is Fun Day.  The year sixes have set up lots of different activities for us to try.  Keep your eyes on this blog to see some photos of what we are sure will be a FUN afternoon!
